1.  Who is the speaker?  What kind of person is s/he?  To whom is s/he speaking?
Bob Marley. A stoner. Everyone.

2.  What is the setting of the poem in time and place?
The setting could be anywhere and could be at any time.

3.  What is the central purpose of the poem?  Does it tell a story, reveal human character, give a vivid impression, express a mood or convey an idea?  List a line or two that supports your choice.
Hes sad and wants to forget about his trouble, and the only thing that can help him forget is red wine.
"Just one thing makes me forget
Red, red wine"

4.  State the central idea or theme of the poem in a sentence.
Red wine is the only thing.

5.  What is the tone of the poem (the speaker's attitude toward the subject of the poem)?  Is he or she sympathetic, excited, angry, pleased, bitter, etc.?  Again, support your position with a line or two.
Sad.
"Red, red wine
Go to my head
Makes me forget that i
Still need her so"

6.  List two especially effective examples of diction (word choice) in the poem.  Explain why they are so effective.

"Red, red wine                           Hes not afraid to explain and say that hes sad and only needs one thing.
Stay close to me
Don't let me be alone
Its tearin' apart
My blue, blue heart"

7.  Choose two examples of effective imagery (language that appeals to the senses) from the poem.
"Red red wine you make me feel so fine
You keep me rocking all of the time."
"Red red wine you make me feel so grand
I feel a million dollars when your just in my hand."

8.  Finally, explain why this poem or lyric speaks to you.  What is it that makes it powerful?  Justify your answer with supporting reasons.
Im a sensitive person and i have a harder time showing it, but when i listen to this song it makes me feel better about myself because in a way i can relate to his situation. not all the time but only when i feel hurt. What makes it powerful is the way he sings it.

Interpretive Fiction or Escapist Fiction

I think interpretive fiction would be most fitted to learn because
it makes you think about things that could happen or if they have happened.
It can teach you lessons, and can teach you things you have never thought
about before that could happen in reality. It focuses on the characters and
the theme of the novel. When you are done reading it requires thinking
and looking at the deeper meaning of the novel. In my opinion I think
interpretive fiction should be studied in the English classroom because
it makes you think outside the box.

About Dr. Evil

I think Dr. Evil is misunderstood, because he’s lost in his own world, he was raised to be evil but really he has no idea what’s going on and neither does Austin Powers. As far as Dr. Evil knows Austin Powers, is his arch foe and is set out to destroy him. Little do they both know that they are brothers, twins in fact! They were separated as babies when the vehicle blew up when Nigel Powers, their father, went to go take a tinkle, what caused this was there mother went to turn on the radio and hitting a certain frequency would set off the explosion. Austin and Dougie (Dr. Evil) are sitting in the back of the vehicle while their mom takes a majority of the blow and saving them only separating them away from each other. Dr. Evil was raised by a Belgium baker who was also a drunk. His mother who is 15 years of age, has a webbed foot and is a prostitute named Chloe. As you can see Dougie was not raised properly, and may have had not the best life time experience.
Later on in the movie Dr. Evil finds out the Austin is his long lost brother and Nigel is his real father. Soon after finding this out he looses the need to kill Austin and Nigel and soon are reunited. This is why I think he is misunderstood.

TOP 25 NUT SHOTS - OUCH!! Americas Funniest Home Videos part 448 (3 inside 25)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D84CcfIDjec

My topic is the three out of twenty five top nut shots in America, and my states are based on which ones are the most funniest to me, and everyone has a different opinion or sense of humor.

The first one I have chosen is at two minutes and 39 seconds of the way through the movie. What happens is the little boy goes to get picked up by his dad but his dad misses and drops him on his head and the little boy walks away and comes right back with his hand up and hits him in the nuts. I thought it was funny because maybe the dad deserved it in a sense.

In the second one the man is balanced on the side of a pool and is slipping and he jumps up and slips and he hits his nuts on the edge of the pool. Not only that but he breaks the one side of the pool with his nuts that must have hurt.

Finally the third one the little boy is putting his boot on and he gets them on, stands up, goes up to an old man and wants the basket of candy, but the old man was teasing him and the boy is about waste height so the little boy gets the basket of candy and sacks the old man right in the nuts.

Guilty Pleasures

This is my guilty pleasure, people see me do this and they think what an immature guy or gay or whatever they think of me. That's OK I'm not looking for there approval, but even still i feel embarrassed about it. When you do these kind of things you find out pretty fast who not a very good person.

I remember when i was young i was about in between the ages of seven to twelve, i would put on my moms make up and get into all of her make up and put on some of her dresses and all that other stuff. When i was young i put on my mothers lip stick and well i was playing in her cloths and some of my moms clothes were on a hanger with my dads clothes and well i ended up getting lip stick on my dads clothes and well it turned out to be a big mess later on. My mom got mad at dad and they were arguing with each other and well i didn't say anything till the next day because i was scared to get in lots of trouble. I told them what happened they said sorry to one another and everything was good between them. I got in trouble, because i didn't say anything sooner. The reason i did all of these childish things is because i wanted to see people laugh i didn't mind if it was at me i like to see people be happy but now that I'm older I'm a little more self conscious about what other people think of me, like i want to make a good first impression and then they will find out who i am, and even still to this day I'll do little things like that, but only every now and again. I like watching people laugh and i like to help my little sister with her make up and shes always wanting to put it on mom but mom doesn't really have time so I'll be a good sport and let her put it on me and then I'll go and show my grandmother to see her laugh. I love seeing my grandmother laugh, it cheers me up whenever I'm feeling down. Since last year i haven't put on make up to watch people laugh but i still put on nail polish because i like seeing peoples reactions because there always positive. I put on a bright yellow nail polish for my little cousin because she wanted to paint someones nails and everybody said no and well she wasn't having a good day but i told her i would do it, she asked me "really"? i told her yes i would do it, i told her to get the nail polish. she had fun and so did i. I got all my aunties and uncles to laugh, and well because i had nail polish on i acted immature for a little bit. It turns out i ended up leaving the nail polish on just for her and i told her "next time i see you I'm taking it off". she said "OK" with a big smile upon her face. I couldn't help but smile. i made her day and her night. she was more then happy to see nail polish on my nails.
